Sawdust Storage Silos

The sawdust and dust formed during the production process in furniture, lumber or similar factories are collected in the silo with a sawdust fan. The dust and sawdust accumulated in the sawdust silo are transported with a hydraulic mixer silo discharge system and a chain elevator or helical. Polygonal modular silos can be easily moved to another location and their capacity can be increased. It consists of a temperature-sensitive fire detection system, water fire extinguishing, observation windows, airtight maintenance and cleaning covers, roof railings, safe sailor ladders and explosion covers. The dimensions of the silo are determined specifically according to customer requirements. The silo is manufactured with or without legs. Leg type silos are suitable for truck loading. Polygonal modular silos have a silo top filter, hydraulic mixer silo discharge system, electrical panel and sawdust fan. The filtration chamber is located on the top of the silo and the number of filters varies according to the capacity. Silos are mounted on the ground as well as on top of the boiler room. Thus, space is saved in the factory area. The sawdust fan positioned behind the silo filter offers long service life and low maintenance cost since it does not come into contact with sawdust particles. On the other hand, the dust collection line can be easily connected to the silo from any point and additional fans are not needed for the connected lines. The sawdust fan operates as PID depending on the vacuum value.
