KalfaCAD is CAD/CAM software written for workshops that produce furniture. You draw the cabinet, and the program works out the part list, the edge banding, the drilling plan and the machine code on its own. It also does the nesting and gives you G-code your CNC can read straight away. No second program needed. The software was built inside a working CNC workshop. That is why the details most programs get wrong, such as grooving, rebating and double-sided drilling, work properly from start to finish. You can track parts with barcodes, print labels made for the shop floor, and talk directly to panel saws and drilling machines of any type. The licence is bought once, with no monthly fee. The program also runs without an internet connection.
