WoodTech, one of Eurasia’s leading meeting platforms for the woodworking machinery and production technologies industry, is preparing to open its doors for the 39th time. Organized by Reed Tüyap Fairs Inc. in cooperation with the Woodworking Machinery Industrialists Association (AIMSAD) and with the support of the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (EUMABOIS), the 39th International Woodworking Machinery, Cutting Tools and Hand Tools Fair – WoodTech will take place at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul from October 22–25, 2026. The fair will bring industry professionals together with next-generation solutions focused on automation, digitalization, smart manufacturing and sustainability in woodworking technologies.

Bringing together technologies from across the woodworking industry’s production chain on a single platform, WoodTech will showcase a wide range of products and technologies, from CNC machining centers, panel sizing and edge-banding systems to log and timber processing machinery, surface treatment technologies, cutting tools, automation solutions and robotic systems. WoodTech 2026 will highlight smart and integrated manufacturing systems, CNC technologies, automation, industrial robotics, digital manufacturing and production monitoring solutions, all of which are playing an increasingly important role in the transformation of the woodworking industry.

Türkiye’s Manufacturing and Export Strength Reaches International Markets

With its strong manufacturing infrastructure, engineering expertise and export performance, Türkiye’s woodworking machinery industry holds an important position within the country’s machinery sector. In 2025, the industry recorded approximately USD 354.1 million in production and USD 143.4 million in exports. Against imports of USD 107.2 million, it generated a foreign trade surplus of USD 36.2 million, while the export-to-import coverage ratio reached 134%.

By bringing Türkiye’s manufacturing and technological capabilities together with international purchasing professionals, WoodTech aims to increase the industry’s visibility in global markets. Bulgaria, Poland and Spain stood out among Türkiye’s leading woodworking machinery export markets in the first quarter of 2026. Building on this momentum, the fair will bring professional buyers from strategic markets together in Istanbul, particularly from Europe, the Balkans, the Middle East, North Africa, the Caucasus and Central Asia.

Continuing to strengthen its global cooperation network, WoodTech will support the growth of the industry’s international trade volume through dedicated hosted buyer initiatives and strategic B2B meetings with leading investors from across the region. New Opportunities for International Trade

WoodTech’s international profile is further reinforced by the strong exhibitor and visitor figures achieved in previous editions. In 2025, the fair hosted 317 exhibiting companies and company representatives from 22 countries and welcomed a total of 21,076 professional visitors, including 3,477 international visitors from 96 countries.

In 2026, WoodTech aims to welcome qualified investors, purchasing professionals and decision-makers from strategic target markets, particularly from the furniture industry and other related sectors.

Woodworking Technologies to Meet in Istanbul

Bringing together furniture manufacturers, timber and panel producers, factory and production managers, machinery and technology purchasing professionals, distributors, importers and international buyer delegations, WoodTech 2026 will be open to visitors from 10:00 to 18:00 on October 22–24 and from 10:00 to 17:00 on October 25.
