The Woodworking Industry Turns Its Investment Focus Back to Istanbul

As global competition accelerates and efficiency and sustainability become more important than ever in manufacturing, the investment agenda of the woodworking industry is once again taking shape in Istanbul. WoodTech Istanbul, the 39th International Woodworking Machinery, Cutting Tools and Hand Tools Fair, is preparing to bring together manufacturers, technology suppliers and industry professionals on October 22–25, 2026 at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul.

WoodTech Istanbul 2026 will be organized by Reed Tüyap Fairs Inc. in cooperation with the Woodworking Machinery Industrialists Association (AİMSAD) and with the support of the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (EUMABOIS).

Going beyond a platform where new products are showcased, WoodTech Istanbul will serve as a strategic meeting point for the technologies, investments and international business partnerships shaping the future of the woodworking machinery industry.

Technologies for Next-Generation Factories Under One Roof

Addressing a wide range of application areas from furniture manufacturing and panel processing facilities to door production, building components and timber construction systems, WoodTech Istanbul will showcase technologies that make production processes smarter, faster and more sustainable.

The trade show will highlight automation systems, CNC technologies, robotic applications, digital manufacturing solutions, surface treatment technologies, cutting tools, software systems and energy-efficient production technologies. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore next-generation woodworking machinery and production solutions that can help increase their competitiveness in global markets.

A Platform Where Investment Decisions Are Made

WoodTech Istanbul is not only an exhibition where technologies are displayed; it is also a key industry platform where production investments are planned, new business partnerships are established, and international trade connections are developed.

Having hosted 317 exhibitors and company representatives, together with more than 21,000 industry professionals last year, the fair aims to bring new investors to Istanbul in 2026 from Türkiye as well as many strategic regions including Europe, the Balkans, the Middle East, North Africa, the Caucasus and Central Asia.

Türkiye Strengthens Its Position as a Regional Production and Technology Hub

With its strategic location, strong manufacturing infrastructure and well-developed machinery industry, Türkiye continues to strengthen its position as a regional production and supply hub for woodworking technologies. WoodTech Istanbul plays an important role in carrying this potential to international markets.

Through business meetings, new commercial connections and technology-focused solutions to be presented during the fair, exhibitors will have the opportunity to expand their export networks, while visitors will be able to meet the right solution partners to guide their future production investments.
