Bilgi Makina Sanayi, serving the wood and timber industry with the manufacture of welding and sharpening machines, was founded in 1976 in İzmir by the Bilgi brothers, İsmail and Muhittin, as a small workshop. Initially starting with the production of small welding machines, the Bilgi brothers began producing new products that significantly contributed to the national economy and met the needs of industrialists to the highest degree. Incorporated in 1982 and continuing its operations in its new, modern factories, the company manufactures welding machines used in the welding of band and circular saws, as well as the most advanced and user-friendly sharpening machines for band saws, circular and gang saws, chainsaws, and drill blades.
