Log sawing line

Currently, there are two main types of cross-cut saws available on the market: chain saws and circular saws. Customers may select the optimal sawing solution based on their actual production requirements, with key reference factors as follows: 1.Raw log diameter 2.Original length of raw logs 3.Target cut-to-length of logs after sizing, e.g., 1300mm, 2600mm or other custom lengths 4.Required hourly output and cubic meter volume of raw timber processed per hour Chain Saw (Economy Model) Each cutting cycle takes approximately 10 seconds, suitable for low-to-medium production volumes, with a relatively low price point. Circular Saw (Premium High-End Model) Each cutting cycle takes roughly 3 seconds, designed for high-volume mass production, with a higher unit price. To boost overall production capacity, both saw types can be configured as double-saw or triple-saw units. The length of the chain saw guide bar and the diameter of the circular saw blade shall be selected according to the maximum diameter of raw logs to be saw. The 2nd saw, or both the 2nd and 3rd saws, can be manufactured as movable units controlled by servo motors, enabling flexible cutting of logs with multiple size specifications. All log clamps adopt hydraulic clamping; the downward clamping force prevents log shifting during cutting and eliminates saw jamming risks. Photoelectric sensors detect the start and stop of log conveyance on the conveyor line to guarantee precise positioning, with a cutting tolerance no greater than 5mm. The movements of four core assemblies — saw units, log grippers, length sizing stops and material conveyors — are program-controlled and interlocked sequentially to ensure high operating efficiency. Trim offcut and sawdust are collectively discharged via a waste conveyor system.
